About Brian Stertzer

Brian Stertzer combines his extensive experience in business development, accounting, and sales to design and manage the growth of major financial initiatives. Currently the Managing Director of Asset Management for the Columbus, Ohio firm WealthStone, Brian Stertzer oversees over $500 million in assets and spearheads sales to ultra high net worth clients.

Stertzer graduated magna cum laude from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. He began his career as an accountant with the firms Ernst & Ernst and Lowrimore & Warwick before being named Partner at Professional Planning Consultants, where he developed the financial planning practice and founded what would become WealthStone Asset Management. Stertzer then became Vice President of Adia Personnel services, the largest independent staffing firm in the Midwest. He was soon named president of the firm and went on to increase profits from $700,000 to $6 million and expand the number of field offices from 5 to 43. Under his leadership, the company was named National Franchise of the Year for 8 out of 10 years. Stertzer then became president of Dawson Resources, where he increased the human resource provider's sales by 70 percent. In his current position as WealthStone's Managing Director, Stertzer has implemented a new allocation investment philosophy and re-engineered the asset management division.

A member of the American Society of Certified Public Accountants, Brian Stertzer also holds certification in financial planning as a Certified Financial Planner.

He is an active outdoorsman who enjoys tennis, golf, skiing, and standup paddleboarding, as well as riding his motorcycle on regional road trips.
